Desiree Tims is a community activist, advocate, and leader running for District 38.

After spending her entire career being on the frontlines, organizing, registering voters, and standing up against corruption—she is entering the political arena to lead the charge and fight for you.

Desiree is a proud graduate of Dayton Dunbar High School, Xavier University, and Georgetown Law.

Desiree has spent her entire career advocating for her community. That includes advocating and fighting for lowering the cost of prescription drugs, expanding medicaid programs, and SNAP benefits to the most needy families.

District 38 needs a leader in the statehouse who can build on policies that work and remove policies that do not work for our community.

This includes housing, jobs, and economic development.

The change we’ve been waiting for is happening right now. Our community deserves a seat at the table so that we can have a voice in the halls of the Statehouse.

Democracy is on the ballot. We have to ensure that every Ohioans can vote. Voting should be accessible to every resident. Our voices can only be reflected through representation.
